QR codes for PDFs, links, Wi-Fi, text and business cards

This policy is written in clear language.
1) What data we collect
Account identifiers
- Sign in with Google: basic profile info (e.g., name, email) when you choose Google mode.
- Sign in with Apple: a stable user identifier; email/name only if provided by Apple (often only the first time).
Files you choose
- PDF files you select for generating QR codes.
- QR images you export or share.
Usage & diagnostics
- Basic app diagnostics (crash/error logs) to improve stability.
Optional user content
- Business card fields you enter (name, phone, email, etc.) when generating vCard QR.
- Wi-Fi details you enter (SSID + password) when generating Wi-Fi QR.
2) How we use data
- Generate QR codes and allow you to save/share them.
- Upload files to your chosen cloud storage (Google Drive on Android, iCloud/CloudKit on iOS) when you request it.
- Maintain your history (what you created and shared) if enabled in the app.
- Support purchases and subscription access (credits / Pro).
- Improve reliability and fix bugs.
3) Sharing & third-party services
QLINK uses trusted platform services only when needed:
- Apple services (iCloud/CloudKit) for iOS storage and sharing links.
- Google services (Google Sign-In / Google Drive API) when you connect Google Drive.
- App Store / Google Play billing for In-App Purchases (IAP).
We do not sell your personal data.
4) Cloud storage (Google Drive / iCloud)
- Google Drive: QLINK uploads only what you select. Your Drive access is controlled by Google permissions.
- iCloud/CloudKit: QLINK stores selected files/records in your iCloud container for the app. Public links (when available) are created using CloudKit sharing.
5) Payments & subscriptions (IAP)
- Purchases are handled by Apple App Store or Google Play.
- We do not store your payment card details.
- If you purchase a subscription, it may auto-renew until cancelled in your Apple ID / Google Play subscriptions settings.
6) Security
- We use platform security features and standard encryption in transit where applicable.
- Access to cloud storage is governed by your Apple ID / Google Account permissions.
7) Retention
We keep data only as long as needed for app functionality and your chosen storage/history settings.
If you want us to assist with deletion requests or questions, contact us below.
8) Your rights
- You can disconnect Google Drive at any time inside the app (if enabled).
- You can manage iCloud data for QLINK in iOS Settings → Apple ID → iCloud.
- You can request support or deletion help by emailing us.
10) Changes
We may update this policy. If changes are significant, we will update the “Effective” date above.
